Prairie Plains Agro, (PPA), an independent agriculture retail in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan is looking for a Sales Agronomist to join our highly motivated team.  We have a passion for this business while welcoming the challenges of achieving the goals of our mission statement:

To provide crop protection products and superior customer service at a competitive price while continuing to build trusting relationships with our customers, suppliers and business associates.

We strive to do business with a high degree of accuracy and quality. In order to meet this objective we have identified a need to expand our team and are looking to fill a newly created Sales Agronomy position.

As the successful candidate you will have the ability, skills and desire to:

- Provide superior agronomic solutions and service to customers
- Value and build business relationships with both existing and new customers
- Have a strong agronomic background in crop protection, seed and fertility management
- Develop crop plans with customers through consultation and discussion regarding crop rotation, pesticide choice and use, variety selection and fertility management
- Continually upgrade agronomic and sales knowledge
- Enjoy working in a team atmosphere, discussing and formalizing product and service solutions for the business and customers
- Search and research new products and processes to continually present and facilitate new ideas and solutions to local crop challenges

The ideal candidate will:

- Have strong technical, interpersonal and organizational skills while being creative, innovative and client focussed.
- Experience and/or an agriculture degree will be considered an asset.
