Description

The Salvation Army -Kate's Place is seeking evening and night shift Resident Advisors for a new Drug Treatment Court Supportive Women's Residence.  The Supportive Women's Residence will provide safe, supportive housing and programming supports to female participants of the Regina Drug Treatment Court. The Supportive Women's Residence will operate 24hrs/day.  Full -time/Part-time and casual positions are available.  

The Resident Advisor is responsible for monitoring the safety of and providing support for female residents.  RAs will be on site during the weekend and after hours during the week to maintain the security of the property by monitoring access, supervising curfews and ensuring residents are abiding by the rules of the house.  Duties include documenting client whereabouts and behaviors, making security rounds, communicating with residents,mediating difficulties between residents, providing counsel to resident as required,  performing light cleaning duties,
Preference will be given to graduates or someone working toward a degree or certificate in a human service, addictions or social sciences programs. The applicant must have the desire to work within the Salvation Army's guidelines for respect for all people.
