Ensure that engineering, construction and maintenance activities are planned and executed in accordance with the Companys health, safety and environmental standards, construction specifications, and applicable regulations.
Provide inspection services and/or coordinate contract inspection activities required throughout the execution phase of projects.
Ensure the quality of completed construction by conducting QA/QC reviews of project documentation, monitoring as-built drawings, and tracking project deficiencies through to completion.
Develop and/or participate in the development of execution plans for construction projects.
Provide technical direction and construction expertise to assist Project Management personnel throughout the development phase of projects.
Provide direction and leadership during emergency response situations, in accordance with specific roles assigned within the incident command system.
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 education.
Requires a team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and demonstrated good contractor relations.
Five or more years of progressively responsible operations, construction or maintenance experience associated with oil pipelines and facilities.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and applicable codes is essential.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
