General Manager
We are currently looking for a Facility General Manager in Lloydminster, Alberta. Our valued client is looking for the next leader for the overall administration of the day-to-day operations as well creating a company culture for long-term employee sustainability while reporting to the Senior Management team.
Some of the main responsibilities in this role are as follows:
Providing leadership in all manufacturing & plant initiatives
Full circle review of financial statements, sales & activity
Ability to create & develop business system process improvements
Ensure that Quality Assurance performance is in check with QA staff & engineers
Management of all staffing and recommendation of staffing levels
Full working knowledge of compliance for Health & Safety to ensure all worker health & safety as well as compliance with provincial & federal regulations
Focus on creating a positive team-orientated environment through employee development, engagement & motivation
Work directly with the senior management team with critical situations and working towards possible solutions
Travel to other site locations as required
What are we looking for as an applicant?
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in appropriate field
Strong understanding of sales, finance & management
Key communication skills both verbally & written
Experience in prioritization to effectively set action plans & targets
Superior software skills (MS office)
Strong management experience in employee delegation, expectations and ability to monitor progress
Previous manufacturing or Fabrication experience (minimum 7+ yrs.)
