JK Milling Canada Limited is expanding and we are looking to hire a full-time Assistant Plant Operator for our facility in Buchanan, Saskatchewan. The position is open for an immediate start date.
Reporting to the Country Operations Manager, this position is responsible for unloading trucks, loading railcars, drawing and preparing samples, maintaining and re-stocking supplies, ensuring the cleanliness of the facility, interacting with local growers, and liaising with our team in the Vancouver office.
The ideal candidate will have high school education or equivalent, have a valid drivers licence, be fluent in English, and must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule with flexible hours. Experience in a pea processing plant would be considered an asset. Basic computer skills will also be considered an asset.
