Looking for a full time caregiver to care for two children, age range 4 to 8 years old. Caregiver is to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parent. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Supervise and care for children, oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest period, as instructed by employer. Plan and prepare meals and snacks for children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Tend to the emotional well-being of children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parent. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading etc. Take children to appointments and on local outings. Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation required.
Caregiver must be committed, honest and trustworthy, patient and kind.
Caregiver must be proficient is speaking and writing in English.
Household management experience required.
Completion of secondary school would be an asset.
Completion of a training program in childcare or a related field would be an asset.
