Summer Student JobHousekeeping: To maintain a clean, tidy and sanitary environment for an eight bedroom lodge. Tasks include:
Clean and sanitize washrooms
Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
Make beds in guest rooms
Clean and dust furniture
Wash windows, walls, and woodwork
Do laundry and ironing of linens
Empty garbage and recycling
Sweep outdoor decks, boardwalks and event venue
Servers: To serve at banquets or events. Tasks include:
Set up and take down tables and chairs in indoor and outdoor event venue
Set and clear tables and buffet tables
Assist with kitchen prep
Greet and serve guests in a courteous, respectful manner
Make coffee and tea
Dishwashing
Clean up after events
Qualifications:
Hard worker
Positive attitude
Team player
Attention to detail
Pleasant and respectful when interacting with guests
Take direction
Requirements:
Transportation to Waters Edge Eco Lodge on the west side of Greig Lake
Must be able to lift 25 lbs without difficulty
Varying 7 8 hour shifts, between 9:00 am and 11:00 pm, including weekends
Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Students must be at least 15 years old and registered in full time studies in a post-secondary institution or returning to secondary school in the fall of 2015. Proof of enrollment is required.
