Description

We are looking for a qualified, experienced individual to join our team.

A Foreman is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget while maintaining a safe work environment. Main duties are to direct, plan and coordinate daily work activities for workers, and personally directing workers to perform tasks in landscape construction. Often the supervisor, will work hands-on as well as overseeing the workers and may be involved in presenting and selling landscape installations, maintenance projects and services, plants, shrubbery, trees, etc. to customers.

Jobsite duties include: Assigning tasks based on work schedules, keep workers on task, and inspect the quality of work to ensure job requirements are met; Instructing crew members on proper work standards; Interacting with customers to resolve issues or answer questions; Delegating to Crew leaders/ Lead hands; and working along with Crew members/ Labourers in completing all landscaping installations/maintenance.

Jobsite duties also require operating and instructing use of a variety of hand tools and equipment such as packers, chain saws, stone saws, sod cutters, pruning saws, skid steer and other large equipment, driving a 1 ton truck and trailer, etc. to complete landscape projects.
