Description

The Northwest School Division #203 invites applications for an I.T. Service Technician based out of the Meadow Lake technology office, Meadow Lake, SK.  This is a permanent contract to start as soon as can be arranged.

Reporting directly to the I.T. Supervisor, I.T. Service Technicians provide remote and onsite support for information systems within the NWSD education and business environments.  I.T. Service Technicians work with, or under the direction of the IT Supervisor, and in collaboration with the System and Network Administrators in maintaining the complete I.T. infrastructure of the school division including installation and troubleshooting hardware and software, and maintaining local area networks within the schools and division offices.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, organized and motivated team player, with clear written and verbal communication skills, and able to work under minimal supervision.  Candidates should possess a diploma in Information Technology or have equivalent industry experience and the CompTIA A+ Certification will be considered an asset. Candidates require a valid driver's license.
