Dream Development is the land development division within Dream Unlimited.  We have become one of the largest developers in Saskatchewan and Alberta, developing thousands of acres of land over the years.

Role
Dream is looking to hire a Residential and Commercial Construction Manager. Responsibilities include:
Manage the operations of a multi-residential division in mid and high rise projects, including performing, executing, and/or the coordination of all or some of; project take-off (quantity survey), manage sub-trades, prepare weekly/monthly reports, review all construction drawings, manage all consultants, prepare cost estimates, manage project schedule and budget, manage primary and assistant superintendent, attend meetings, review tender closing packages, manage, prepare and maintain all sub-trade contracts, ensure quality control is sustained , engineer and or redesign providing cost savings to developer. Set high standards and provide leadership while maintaining safety and culture;
Understand all tender requirements, study drawings, and provide technical valued engineering suggestions;
Understanding and knowledge of the Saskatchewan building codes and standards;
Prepare and maintain budget data and reports.

Qualifications
BSc in Engineering or Civil Engineering Degree. Certifications with Canadian Construction Institute or Gold Seal;
10yrs experience in managing commercial and multi-residential projects;
10+ years experience and understanding of site servicing; high rise concrete and wood frame construction structures and of civil, concrete parkade construction, concrete and steel vertical structures, and box/retail/office construction.
General knowledge of Contract/Owner/Engineer General Terms and Conditions;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Sage/Timberline, Estimate Master, Pro Contractor MX, and Primavera 6 would be an asset.
