Job Description:
Perform preventative maintenance of all company trucks and trailers. Tasks include, but not limited to fluid and various filter changes, testing of batteries, checking and replacing lights / wires, adjustments to brake system and clutch components and lubricating moving parts of equipment;
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 1 year experience working on heavy trucks and transportation equipment.
Truck & Transport / Heavy Duty Equipment Journeyman Certificate or equivalent in training and experience
Proficiency with all tools of the trade
Basic computers skills and passion for problem solving
Experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment
- Valid Class 1A License is a must.
- Ability to lift 25 kilograms
