David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Heavy Haul Transportation Supervisor based in Regina.

Our client is looking to fill this role to serve their clients as the in-house Transportation Supervisor in the heavy-haul trucking industry. The successful candidate will be based out of the Regina Head Office. Our client enjoys a solid customer base within the heavy-haul trucking industry.

The Role:

The core of the position is to work with our clients to ensure the successful and safe transportation of all their heavy-haul needs.
Provide clients with solid information on routes and planning expertise for large oversize load movement in Canada and across border to the US.
Working with the client and our Engineers provide information on load securement and vehicle combinations required for their specific needs.
Provide route surveys, operations planning and the equipment required for their specific heavy-haul move.

The Ideal Candidate:

Strong time management, muli-tasking and communication skills.
A minimum of five years previous experience in the heavy-haul trucking industry.
Expertise in the safe loading and unloading of heavy equipment.
Experience in the scouting of travel routes, including road surveys, load limits and special transportation requirements.
The ability to make sound decisions quickly in a fast paced and demanding environment.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, emails, internet, etc.
