Description

The Quality Manger aims to ensure that the product or service provided fits the purpose and meets requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.Participates in the implementation of the quality system under the guidance of the IMS Manager in order to ensure the adequate implementation of the quality standards and the performance of quality management systems.
Responsibilities
    Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a Quality Plan and Procedures to maintain Project Quality Management System compliance.
    Promotes quality achievement and performance throughout the project organization.
    Supports the development and implementation of the Worksite Management Plan. Monitors the implementation and development of Quality Management System and Environment Systems in Construction.
    Setting quality compliance objectives and standards of service, and ensuring targets are achieved.
    Assesses product / service specifications of suppliers and compares with customer and legal requirements (ensures compliance with standards and legislation).
    Analyses nonconformities and deviations from the system; establishes corrective preventive actions and checks for their effectiveness, monitoring and closure.
    Ensures tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated, and that product / service modifications are investigated when required.
    Conducts internal audits and works with the Procurement service or other external auditors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Knowledge of Total Quality Management and Methodologies
    Knowledge of ISO 9000
    Exceptional communication skills
Experience/Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree in an Applied Science or Engineering Field.
    Previous experience in a Quality and Environment Roles, in Civil, Social and Rehabilitation projects.
    10+ Years Construction Related Experience, in a Quality role for major projects.
