Saskatchewan Alternative Initiatives(SAI) is a leader in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in the areas of Home Support, Day Program and Semi-Independent Living in Saskatoon.
As part of this rewarding opportunity, you will be working alongside a great team in our day program.
This position consists of only daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
Do not have to work stat holidays or weekends.
The Male Vocational Team Leader will be accountable for all facets of the team and providing leadership in the areas of:
-Direct support of several men in the day program with everyday living such as recreational opportunities and personal hygiene.
-Support team supervision (evaluations, scheduling)
-The development, support and delivery of individual support plans
-Option development
-Relationships with individuals, families, and personal networks of the people served through SAI
All training and orientation will be gained while on the job. A clear criminal record check and a valid driver's license is needed to apply.
Experience and/or some related post secondary are assets. Knowledge in augmentative communication, crisis prevention and gentle teaching.
