Currently we are recruiting for a full time Safety Advisors to work out of our Estevan office on a 14 & 7 scheudle:
Main Duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
Contributes to the development, implementation, communication and maintenance of all Kandrea safety policies and programs
Acts as an advisor and a resource of safety policies and procedures to all Kandrea employees
Participates in the identification, evaluation, control and management of hazards and risks
Ensures consistent promotion and utilization of safe work practices
Ensures compliance with all legislation as it relates to HSE including all internal and external reporting requirements
Updates, maintains and delivers safety orientations, on-going training and awareness programs for employees
Creates, compiles and maintains appropriate records and documents for records and reporting requirements
Contributes to the continuous improvement of Kandreas HSE policies, procedures and practices by developing, implementing, reviewing, seeking input and suggesting changes to documents and practices
Investigates incidents and identifies unsafe work practices and corrective actions
Acts as a liaison between regulatory bodies and clients
Qualifications
NCSO or CRSP Designation or equivalent education and experience in the health and safety field
3-5 years experience in a similar role
Previous industrial experience an asset
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Track record for success in establishing, maintaining and growing an effective safety culture
Computer experience
