Description

General Manager of Slaughter and Meat Fabrication Plants
    Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of slaughter and  meat fabrication plants    Develops staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
    Supervises all subordinate managers in the plants, ensures development of the required skill sets in these leaders and oversees the facilities training schedule
    Coordinates all shift operations, to include the setting of the operational schedules in conjunction with Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, Waste and  Material Control.
    Coordinates and directs the Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the plants
    Partners with Sales, Marketing, R & D, and Product Managers to ensure production needs and customer service requirements are met
    Develops marketing plan to maximize business opportunities and serves as a contact person for various vendors and suppliers
    Establishes work procedures to meet production schedules and facilitates continuous quality improvement
    Oversees the operations budget.
    Communicates company policies and procedures to employees and enforces them
Required Skills
    Post secondary education preferred
    A minimum of  10 years experience Managing a Slaughter and Meat Fabrication Plant.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary : $200,000 per annum
