We are looking for a part-time Life Guard - Pool Attendant at the Radisson Hotel in Saskatoon.
Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Life Guard - Pool Attendant will be responsible for guest satisfaction by providing the public and hotel guests with a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor patrons good water safety and stop inappropriate behavior in and around the pool.
Maintains the cleanliness of the pool area and quality of the water:
Ensures that there are clean towels for the patrons.
Notifies Maintenance Department of malfunctioning equipment
Responsible for care and storage of all pool equipment.
Understands when and which chemicals to use in the pool.
Completes daily cleaning tasks
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
NLS Certificate or Bronze Cross, CPR-C/AED and First Aid Certificates
Three to six months experience within a full service hotel property or public pool is preferred.
Strong organizational skills demonstrated ability to proactively prioritize needs.
Understand technical aspects of pool operations.
Able to maintain high standards of productivity, efficiency and safety.
Follow safety & security rules and procedures.
Working Conditions:
Hotel pool, waterslide & hot tub working conditions.
Standing, moving, bending.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Shifts on Friday evenings, Saturdays & Sundays.
