Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Camp Manager, the Kitchen Coordinator is responsible to:
- Prepare and supervise the preparation of pre-set menu determined by the Camp Manager for up to 200
- Supervise the direct and day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Complete the final stages of food preparation
- Ensure meals are served on time
- Maintain inventory
- Ensure sanitation, neatness and safety in the kitchen
- Other duties as specified by the Camp Manager
Qualifications:
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Kitchen experience with large volume required
- Knowledge of nutrition, equipment and kitchen processes
- Ability to work with people with varying abilities
- Effective interpersonal, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Oral communication skills
- Positive attitude
Final candidates are required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search at their cost.
