We are seeking to fill one full-time position: a faculty member at the Associate Professor level (tenure-track) to join two vibrant departments (.5 FTE in Educational Administration and .5 FTE in Linguistics and Religious Studiesmaintaining collegial processes in the Department of Educational Administration) with responsibilities for undergraduate and graduate programs to begin July 1, 2015.
The candidate chosen for this appointment will provide guidance to the Department Head and Graduate Chair of Educational Administration in the area of interprofessional collaboration, as well as leadership in proposed graduate certificate and degree programming focused on Health Professions Educational Leadership. In the Department of Linguistics and Religious Studies, the chosen candidate will engage in teaching and research within the speech and language science stream.
Candidates will hold a doctoral degree in a relevant area and graduate level qualifications in Speech-Language Pathology, with the ability to meet registration and licensing criteria under the Saskatchewan Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Act. Successful field experience (e.g., practice as a SLP, interprofessional leadership, and teaching in Post-Secondary environments), a strong and established program of research, ability to supervise Masters and PhD students, and interest in working with Aboriginal and international communities are expected. Skill and ability to supervise and potentially teach in the area of quantitative research methods is preferred. Evidence of external funding is preferred.
