The Info on the Go team members are Regina Downtown Business Improvement District's downtown ambassadors who provide hospitality help and information, event assistance, clean-up, as well as crime prevention services in the RDBID area. Info on the Go responsibilities include: responding to inquiries for directions, answering questions on transportation, hotels, dining, shopping, safety protocols, etc. Downtown Ambassadors will also provide directions to and from downtown to local tourist attractions, landmarks, answering questions about current events or other happenings in the area and provide walking tours within the downtown upon request.
Info on the Go Team assists with crime prevention services for the Regina Police Service (RPS) by being watchful for risks or threats to the safety and security of the public, downtown businesses and monitoring public property. Downtown Ambassadors engage in preventative measures and mediation techniques to address downtown safety concerns with the aim of resolving issues before they require police attention.
Supplemental cleaning duties also fall into the realm of Info on the Go Team. They are expected to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of downtown through small initiatives, such as litter picking and environmental protection for Victoria Park.

Preferred Qualifications:
Potential candidates must be actively pursuing a post-secondary education and intend to return to that pursuit on a full-time basis in the fall. Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Human Justice would be considered an asset. Applicants must possess strong teamwork, problem solving and communication skills and also be able to establish effective working relationships with many different people. Applicants may be expected to lift or move heavy equipment and walk for long periods.
