ERCO Worldwide, a division of Superior Plus LP, is a global commodity chemicals company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company is the leading worldwide provider of chlorine dioxide technology and one of the world's leading suppliers of sodium chlorate and sodium chlorite, used primarily for the manufacture of chlorine dioxide. The company's chloralkali products are used in the water treatment, pulp and paper, and oil/gas industries.
Position Summary: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, environmentally diligent and efficient operations of the plant through assigned duties. Applicants must be available to work rotating shifts.
Education and Experience: The successful candidate must possess a Grade 12 certificate. Preference will be given to candidates who also hold a Power Engineering Ticket, a Refrigeration Engineers Certificate and/or candidates with previous experience in an industrial or chemical workplace. You must have excellent oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to work well with people of varying disciplines and levels in the organization. You must be in good physical condition, capable of working 12-hour shifts, performing the rigors associated with extensive stair climbing and having the mobility required in an industrial work site.
Remuneration: The rate of pay for this unionized position starts at $37.84 per hour, 90% of this rate during the probationary period; a comprehensive benefit package is also offered.
