Remco Memorials is currently seeking a Layout Editor. The primary responsibility of the layout editor is producing the final fully edited, cut ready layout and cutting the stencil. This is done by manipulating design properties such as type size, font style, spacing and placement using software. Accurate spelling and measuring, in inches, is crucial to ensure a visually pleasing final product on the medium of granite. This career requires a creative capacity, strong attention to detail and the ability to visualize the final product during the design process. Layout Editors must be able to work independently but should possess the communication skills needed to collaborate with peers and take instruction from supervisors. Since layout editors spend most of their time on computers, technology proficiency is necessary.
