Description

We have immediate openings for dedicated and hard-working individuals to fill full-time positions as a General Labourer/Helper.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, hold a valid Class 5 (or greater class) drivers' license, obtain negative results upon completion of pre-access drug and alcohol screening, and meet the physical requirements to perform average lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds.

The candidate will demonstrate:

-The willingness to work as an effective team player.
-Ability to follow tasks safely and efficiently.
-Understanding and compliance with minimum HSE requirements.
-Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and company employees, as well as the ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
-Ability to work in a confined space.

This position is responsible for assisting abrasive blasters and/or industrial painters in the completion of their daily operations, prepping materials for abrasive blasting and/or painting, general housekeeping duties, clean-up for painting and coating, material handling and any other tasks within the department.

Position is subject to a significant amount of standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, awkward or cramped positions while working. There is also exposure to dust and fumes, outside elements (extreme heat, extreme cold) inside elements, and a significant noise level.

Position is also subject to unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts and/or night shifts.
