Cre-8-tive Minds Early Learning Child Care Inc. is seeking full time motivated and enthusiastic educators to join our team. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Education Certificate/Diploma or working towards Early Childhood Education
First Aid & CPR Certification
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Vulnerable Sector Check (Child Abuse Record Check)
Satisfactory TB Test Results
ECE Skills:
Knowledge and ability to program with-in a play-based curriculum.
Demonstrated knowledge of child development.
Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities.
Establish guidelines for behaviour.
Knowledge and application of Child Care Regulations.
Provide a nurturing atmosphere that encourages creative expression through art, dramatic play and music.

Ability to work with and mentor others

Job task planning and organizing.
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
- Assess the developmental level of children
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
