Description

Assists in the implementation of programs and program initiatives in the Saskatchewan Branch.  Actively promotes and facilitates advocacy initiatives in support of policy development pertaining to renal care, organ donation and transplant programs in the province.

Assists in administrating and maintaining the data required for the Living Organ Donor Expense Reimbursement Program in Saskatchewan.

Coordinates targeted screening initiatives of the Branch.

Promotes the Foundation and develops and maintains relationships with community partners including renal units and the transplant program.

Assists in the research and collection of information to support the programs of the Branch.

Assist in the planning, promotion and execution of special events throughout Saskatchewan, including Walks and all third party special events.

Works alongside the Manager, Community Development, committee chairs and volunteers, co-facilitates event related committees or chairs them as required.

Responsible for participating in communications and networking initiatives in support of special events and assists with the development of new opportunities to build community awareness and engagement.

Responds to inquiries from the public about events.

Working with the Manager, Communications and Manager, Community Development, assists in the responsibilities for: Newsletters, Website, Social Media, Print Materials, Sponsorship Packages, News Releases etc.

Assists in briefing volunteers with key messages on current issues, statistics and position statements for providing leadership and support where necessary.

Assists in data entry for programs initiatives.

Provides donor information, event invitation and participant and volunteer lists to Coordinator, Administrative and Donor Services for input into database.

Coordinates production and distribution of all materials for special event participants.
