Looking for a summer job? Want to learn about sales?? This sales position could be just the job for you! The salesperson will represent Maple Farm Equipment in the Lawn and Garden sales activity that will foster long term business relationships and loyalty with the companys current and potential customers. Working with the Lawn and Garden Manager, you will assist in sales of Lawn and Garden products including mowers, Gator Utility Vehicles, Compact Utility Tractors and accessories in a personal and commercial capacity. The incumbent of this position shall also conduct all business transactions on behalf of the company with honesty, integrity and a commitment to follow through with customers. The position requires the attendance in trade shows, new equipment introductions, customer events, as well as training opportunities.
Performance Expectations:
Follow up with all completed sales to ensure the customer is completely satisfied with their purchase experience with Maple Farm Equipment.
Stay current on all Lawn and Garden products that we represent, as well as the competition.
Daily update yourself on changes to manufacturers terms, discounts and special programs, sales, deliveries, evaluations and new equipment arrivals.
Keep current on product knowledge and benefits of specific machines.
Become proficient quoting prices to customers.
Safely move, wash, re-fuel, and may occassionally have to deliver equipment to customer locations.
Maintain the showroom displays and keep marketing materials current.
