Description

To operate the centre in compliance with The Child Care Act and The Child Care Regulations by administering board policy and maintaining enrollment through delivery of safe and developmentally appropriate programming.

Education and Experience
-Early Childhood Educator - Level 3, or working towards
-First Aid & CPR
-TB Test
-Prefer minimum of 2 yrs of management experience
-Criminal Record check


Duties and Responsibilities;
-Maintain accurate record keeping, aid in preparation of operating budget, maintain financials, administer payroll
-Ensure supplies are replenished as needed and oversee menu planning
-Recruit and schedule qualified staff memembers (including ECE practicum students) and conduct performance reviews
-Ensure effective communication with families, connecting families with agencies and resources as required and addressing concerns in a timely manner
-Liase with the board on any issues of concern and attend all board meetings and assist in decision making and policy development
-Ensure Center meets all legal requirements
-Inform board of Government Initiatives affecting the centre and its programming.
