The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for supporting the payroll conversion and general human resource support.

Duties:
Payroll conversion:
-    Support the payroll conversion from Ceridian to ADP
-    Data input for payroll conversion
-    Filing for payroll conversion
Recruitment:
-    Post vacancy advertisements internally and externally when appropriate
-    Maintain database of candidates
    Screen applicants when required
-    Schedule interviews and book resources when required
-    Complete references checks
-    Completing any written correspondence and offers of employment
Back Up Support:
-    Provide coverage for Receptionist when required

Who are you?
-    Must be enrolled in Degree/Diploma in Business Administration Commerce with a major in Human Resources
-    Previous experience with HR issues is an asset
-    Good oral and written communication skills
-    Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection methodologies
-    Attention to detail with good organization and time-management skills
