Description

Quickthree Solutions Inc. invents and manufactures unique industrial equipment for the oil and gas industry. We are seeking to hire a Production Supervisor to join our team.  

Responsibilities:
Improving processes, procedures and products
Reduce costs of manufacturing products
Increase profitability by increasing customer satisfaction
Build a solid base of operations skills and knowledge within the company
Develop an operations strategy aligned with the company's long term goals
Design the operation's procedures and processes
Plan and control the entire companys manufacturing to determine what the operations resources should be doing and making sure that it is getting done
Improve the overall performance of operations
Manage and increase the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Safety and Quality
Play a significant role in long-term planning
Oversee overall manufacturing management, planning and scheduling;
Management of manufacturing budget
Development of program budgets per family of products
Supervise and coach manufacturing staff on a daily basis, including Operations, Safety, Quality and Supply Chain;
Guarantee that products will be delivered on time and within budget

Qualifications:
Must be eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) or Graduate from a CAD/CAM/Mechanical Engineering Technology
Experience in both larger corporate and start-up small business environments preferred
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of manufacturing operations, metal forming and fabrication, welding and machining.
Strong oral and written skills
Progressive operation experience within manufacturing and environment an asset
Strong computer skills with competency in MS Office suite of products in particular MS Project, ERP systems
Successful candidate must provide a completed Criminal Record Check prior to commencing employment
