Commercial Construction Manager/Office Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced commercial construction manager for a leading commercial and industrial contractor.  A construction manager should pose effective management skills, interpersonal abilities to participate in the construction process and organizational understanding to complete the construction task without any hitch. Location to be determined.

Duties:
    Initiate new construction projects and rebuild older ones
    Prepare project reports
    Ensure safety & quality standards
    Set up budgets and review to ensure compliancy
    Oversee construction of projects ranging from 5M to 10M
    Assist in estimation process as needed
    Prepare construction schedules and delegation of work between workers/contractors
    Supervise and visit construction sites regularly for records management and construction reporting
    Formulate the approved construction plans and outline the successful construction projects to ensure on time completion
    Hire required construction individuals/contractors for projects
    Manage office personnel
    Ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications:
    5-10 years commercial construction management experience is a must
    Engineering background preferred (structural or civil)
    Estimating Experience
    Background in carpentry
    Computer literate (drafting software, estimating software)
    Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate with the contractors, site engineers and architectures for planning the desired construction designs.
    Good negotiation skills to deal with the construction companies to hire the required construction machines, equipments and tools, etc to complete the targeted project on time
    Honest, professional and entrepreneurial spirit

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary dependant on qualifications and experience
