Job Description:
Monette Farms Ltd. operates a large scale, modern farm near Swift Current SK. They are currently seeking a crop production manager to join their growing operation. Reporting to the General Manager, duties include:
Purchasing and maintenance of inventory of all required crop inputs
Forecasting, tendering and negotiating terms with suppliers
Researching and determining seed varieties
Crop scouting and coordinating all field operations with other managers
Maintaining records of all activities related to on- farm trials
Create SRED reports for on farm trials and submitting reports to accountant
Create and maintain all equipment books
Manage GSP software and updates
Planting, cultivating and harvesting crops
