The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
-Organize and plan renovation projects
-Coordinate materials required for renovations
-Provide direction to a crew of 2-3 workers
-Work with lumber yard to generate estimates
-Travel to outlying LLRIB communities if required
-Perform other work related duties as assigned by Carpenter Supervisor
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
-Must be a Journeyperson Carpenter
-Must have a Valid Class 5 License and own truck
-Ability to meet deadlines as per work schedule
-Previous supervisory skills are an asset
-Experience with confined spaces and/or heights is considered an asset
-First Aid, CPR and/or WHIMIS are desirable but not required
-Must be self-directed, highly motivated and possess a strong work ethic
-Must be willing to take direction from a supervisor
-Must be willing to work independently on various job sites
Position: Permanent full time position starting as soon as possible.
Salary: In accordance with applicable salary grid.
