If so, you should consider applying for the full time position open with Prairie Wind & Silver Sage Friends of Grasslands, an internationally recognized ecomuseum located in Val Marie, Saskatchewan, gateway to Grasslands National Park.
The position is full time ( 35 hours per week) from May 3 to August 30, 2015. Pay is $11.75/hour plus tips. Job responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors to view museum and art gallery exhibitions, providing visitor information, maintaining and helping operate a prairie-specialized gift store, operating the museum espresso bar, performing museum and art exhibition-related tasks, and presenting a positive public face of PWSS to the community. Training will be provided.
Accommodation in Val Marie is inexpensive and can be arranged as needed, either boarding in a private acreage home with horses or in a shared self-contained suite.
