The cook is responsible for preparing meals (lunch and supper) according to specifications and according to standard recipes for 80 people. Must be able to read menus and ensure food maintains high quality and taste. At completion of serving put all perishable foods in covered labeled containers. Maintain high degree of sanitation at all times. Perform others duties assigned by Head Cook.

- Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
