Perform safe and efficient loading and offloading of trucks and offloading of rail cars with a variety of finished products for distribution
Work with the Terminal Leader to ensure maintenance decisions are guided by cat-ranking process and effective use of the Decision Making Framework
Ensure equipment is maintained in good operational condition in a cost effective manner
Train and develop seasonal employees to ensure competency in the skills required to do standard PMs and repairs required on site
Work with qualified suppliers to ensure equipment is repaired in a timely manner
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and/or capability of the terminal
Assist in project execution at the terminal and provide timely feedback on progress to key stakeholders
Lead by example by personally promoting Environment, Health and Safety initiatives
Ensure any non-compliant actions or attitudes are addressed quickly and communicated to the appropriate capability leaders
Ensure all employees and contractors are trained on internal processes and on the importance of safety and environmental compliance
Provide emergency assistance with rail unloading and truck loading/unloading in peak demand times
Take ownership to ensure that all work is being done safely and efficiently
Adhere to all in-place safety measures and procedures
Perform housekeeping of terminal site including site clean up and cleaning of equipment
Fulfill training requirements utilizing the Learning Management System
Other related duties as assigned
