Reporting to the Market (Branch) Manager and collaborating daily with the Service and/or Delivery Coordinator, the Driver 1 is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of equipment to our customers. This includes, but is not limited to setting, installation and removal of tanks, tank evacuations and moving of heavy equipment throughout the market area. As a Driver 1 you are accountable for upholding the highest standards of safety in the delivery, handling and securement of propane tanks and equipment along with the necessary documentation.
What you bring to the Role:
High School education.
Minimum of one (1) of year experience.
Provincial certificates as required.
Minimum driver's license (Class 3 or DZ) with an air brake ticket and a clean driver's abstract.
Thorough knowledge of crane trucks, including lifting capabilities, weight restrictions, etc.
Ability to use hand and arm signals for installing, handling, positioning and other requirements to operate cranes.
