The assistant manager position requires someone who has at least 2 years of management experience and has recently been working in the industry. The shifts could start as early as 8am to open the bar or possibly keep you later than 1 am to close the bar. You must have an understanding of the daily operation of a restaurant. You will be trained for but are not limited to the following tasks,
Labor control
Scheduling
Invoicing and Inventory
Staff Management
Day to Day computer usage
POS Operation
Food Cost Awareness
Staff Orientations
Guest Satisfaction
The position also requires you to have a license and reliable transportation.
