Description

The Labourer I position is located within the Public Works Department and shall perform work involving manual labour and operation of tools, support equipment and trucks in the efficient performance of assigned duties.

Applicants for the Labourer I position must possess a valid drivers licence and the ability to work under minimum supervision. A general understanding of and the ability to perform duties of project requirements is an asset.

Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend and overtime shifts may be required. Successful applicants may have an opportunity for permanent employment.

Wages and benefits as per Local No. 4438 CUPE agreement.
