Description

Rec. Director will work under the direction of Town council and be financially accountable to the Town Administrator.  He/she is the administrative head in charge of the day to day operation and maintenance of all recreation facilities within the town. Needs to work with volunteers, town staff, contractors and others to improve and maintain town facilities. Will offer programs and activities for people of all ages, and will help organizations develop new programs.  Grant applications will need to be made to assist with program and facility costs.  Duties will also include assistance to operate the swimming pool and rink complex. Preference will be given to candidates with a Swimming Pool operator certification and Arena operator certification.  Manage and work with recreation staff.
