Administrative Assistant

Acadia Group of Companies is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide assistance with a variety of administrative tasks, with the opportunity to grow within the organization. The Administrative Assistant position will report to the Administration Manager and provide support for the day to day operations of the Acadia Group of Companies.

Specific Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
    Assist with the day to day operations
    Provide support to the Project Managers in the administration of ongoing projects
    Provide assistance in the preparation of reports and proposals
    Facilitate the creation and maintenance of forms and templates
    Provide support to the accounting group as required
    Provide support and backup assistance to reception
    General office duties such as filing, word processing, excel data entry

Requirements & Qualifications
    Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power point (creating forms & templates)
    Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy
    Excellent verbal and written skills
    Attention to detail and creative problem solving skills
    Take ownership of quality and execution of assigned tasks, results oriented
    Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
    Able to work efficiently and independently
    Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our clients and internal groups
    Minimum of 5 years related experience in an administrative role
    Understanding of the construction and engineering industry would be an asset
