QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree, or diploma from a two year program in Computer Science/Data Processing, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Some knowledge of computer fundamentals; structured analysis, design, and programming techniques; and current operating systems & environments.
Ability to develop structured programs or procedures.
Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems.
Good interpersonal organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
Skills and abilities acceptable to the client.
DESIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
General understanding & some experience in Security ID-Administration.
Some knowledge of security computer fundamentals.
Good customer service skills.
Some mainframe experience, z/OS & z/VM security administration (RACF, Top Secret), and VSE & zLinux.
Some skill level on Intel operating systems (Windows, Linux), particularly Active Directory.
Skills in UNIX Operating systems (Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris) and tools.
General understanding of multi-platform environments, including network & storage technologies.
Certifications, especially those related to security.
Positive & disciplined attitude regarding security, as well as ISD team members and customers.
Good communications skills for interfacing with all clients & auditors - both internal and external.
Strong team player.
Some leadership skills.
Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.
Strong independent self-learner.
Share on-call duty responsibilities if/when required.
Work overtime if/when required to meet workload demands.
