  Pay Band 9 $19.570 to $20.950 (3 step range)

Job Summary:
  Cleans and sterilized surgical instruments/equipment/linens and maintains/distributes sterile supplied for department(s)/facility(s)/region.

Experience:
  No previous experience

Required Qualifications:
  Grade 12
  Sterile Processing Technician Certificate

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Ability to work independently
  Basic computer skills
  Communication skills
  Organizational skills

Additional Text:
  If the employer is unable to find a fully qualified candidate; would be willing to consider an individual who is currently enrolled in the Sterile Processing Technician program and would be able to complete the training within one (1) year at their own expense.
