Job Summary:
The Payroll Officer collects, verifies and processes payroll information in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective contracts and/or agreements with the school division.
Qualifications:
A minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED) is required
Completion of post-secondary courses in accounting or financial management from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education is required
Completion of Certified Payroll Manager Certificate (C.P.M.C.) is an asset
One (1) year experience payroll experience is required
A working knowledge of computers is required
Salary & Benefits:
$23.85/hour to $31.01/hour
