Description

DUTIES:
The Fitness Attendant will provide high-energy customer service to patrons, plus provide a safe, welcoming environment.  Specific duties include the on-going monitoring of the facility, routine maintenance, janitorial functions and reacting to emergency situations, should they arise.  You will also assist customers using the equipment, and provide orientations to new members.  Other duties may be assigned on occasion.  The Fitness Centre Attendant will work 8  24 hours per week.  Must be available for early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must be a graduate of Grade 12. He or she must have current First Aid, CPR/AED, and WHMIS. Having an AFLCA, CanFitPro, SPRA, or equivalent certification/training is considered an asset. Must be neat in appearance, with good written and oral communication skills.  The candidate will have the capability of effectively and tactfully dealing with the public. Sport or fitness experience is required.
