Are you an experienced administrative assistant looking to work for a premier mining company in their project department? If so, then we have the right job for you!
Our customer is looking for someone to join their ranks as an administrative assistant providing support to the Project Management Department working a full-time schedule for 8-9 months.
What the job is:
As administrative assistant you will possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS office suite, including outlook. You will be required to assist with calendaring, setting up complex meetings and taking minutes. You will also be required to assist with reporting and are proficient at using data sets and manipulating pivot tables in excel. And undertake any other duties assigned. A knowledge of SAP, Sharepoint and/or Project Manager will be an asset.
Skills required of you
- Grade 12 completion with an administrative diploma or equivalent degree in business administration
- 2-3 years of experience in a professional office environment
- Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
- High level of attention to detail required
- Able to keep up in a fast paced work environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- High level of computer usage especially with Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook
