Description

St. John Bosco Wilderness Camp is seeking a responsible, amicable individual with a love of the outdoors to work as a head cook. The position is located at Zeden Lake in Narrow Hills Provincial Park, 45 minutes north of Smeaton. Room and board are provided.
The head cook will work with other kitchen staff to prepare meals for camp staff and the attending children (from approximately 50 to 150 individuals). Three meals a day as well as a snack will need to be prepared (breakfast is at 8:30 so getting up early will be required). The cook will need to work within the bounds of the menu provided.
-Current Food Safe and experience working in a commercial environment are an asset, as well as a demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
-Must have a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
