Description

Qualifications:                
-Outdoor experience
-Experience working with children
-First aid certification
-Wilderness First Aid, LPN, RN or EMT certification a great asset
-Must have a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

Duties:        
     The Camp Nurse / E.M.T. is responsible for promoting good
health habits and camp safety, for giving all emergency first aid
treatment, and for distributing all medications to campers and
staff.

Comments:        
     St John Bosco Wilderness Camp is a life changing experience for
both the campers and the staff.   All applicants, with or without
extensive experience with Nursing, EMT or similar training, will be
considered and are encouraged to apply.  
     If you are a hard working individual, who loves the great
outdoors and bringing happiness into the lives of children, an
incredible summer could be waiting for you at SJBWC.  
     The position is located at Zeden Lake in the Narrow Hills
Provincial Park.  Room and board are provided.

 - Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients

 - Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
