We are looking for a shop manager in our Regina office. This position would be a supervisory position involving some light weight mechanical duties. This position offers a competitive salary, and full benefits.
Responsibilities
- Oversee shop procedures and perform shop inspections
- Maintain shop safety protocols
- Supervise mechanics and distribute work load
- Maintain positive working environment amongst employees
- Oversee and sign commercial vehicle inspections
- Help other mechanics when necessary
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
- Licensed Trailer Mechanic
- Full current knowledge of Volvo truck repair
- Supervisory or management experience
- At least 5 years experience as a trailer mechanic
- Certification for safety inspections
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Good organization and prioritization skills
- Extremely reliable
