Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a busy company with projects across Saskatchewan, to recruit an experienced Document Control / Turnover Coordinator. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension, and will require the successful applicant to fly-in for a 7 in/7 out shift.

The Role:

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in document control and records management functions
Document the receipt and distribution of incoming project documents in accordance with the document distribution matrices
Obtain list of inspection and test packages from site supervision and quality to input into turnover software for tracking
Escalate any lagging issues to appropriate discipline superintendent and site manager
Execute commissioning system turnover process for each turnover package per site procedure, leveraging others for knowledge and escalation as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience in commissioning asset management is beneficial
A strong working knowledge of Windows Applications including Word, Excel, InfoPath and Visio, as well as file-sharing software applications such as FTP sites, SharePoint, etc. and Adobe Acrobat Reader/Writer and the ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.  
Experience in an engineering environment would be beneficial
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
