Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the pharmacist is a member of the patient care team and provides pharmaceutical care according to established policies and also within the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists guidelines including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical consultation, drug utilization review, medication counseling, medication histories, drug information, and educational roles of prescription and over the counter needs. We also provide pharmaceutical services to local long term prescription and over the counter needs. We also provide pharmaceutical services to local long term prescription and over the counter needs. We also provide pharmaceutical services to local long term care facilities, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with other local health care providers.
Qualifications:
Baccalaureate Degree in Pharmacy, Licensed in province of Saskatchewan and a member in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists, Level 1 and minor aliment training would be an asset.
